Journal Square
A Commuter’s Dream
When traveling to, from or around Journal Square, commuters are afforded a bevvy of options. At the main Transportation Center, you’ll find access to PATH trains with service to and from Manhattan, as well as several bus lines that go around town and to the Port Authority Transit Terminal in New York.
Citibike has also expanded its bike stations throughout Jersey City with several in the Journal Square neighborhood.
An Entertainer’s Delight
No need to travel into the city to find something to do. Throughout town explore the Landmarked Lowe’s Jersey Theater or the stunning architecture of the Stanley Theater. Also, check out Mana Contemporary, showcasing artist studios and exhibitions or when the weather is agreeable, head to Lincoln Park, boasting lush, green spaces with tennis courts, playgrounds, dog runs and more. From spring through fall, you can also head to the JSQ Farmer’s Market once a week to stock up on healthy snacks or delectable goodies.
